Changes to Checkout (v1) orchestration for new Microsoft tenants

We are introducing changes to the Checkout v1 flows for new Microsoft tenant purchase scenarios. These changes aim to mitigate errors on order creation that are caused by slow Microsoft account creation API response times.

Previously, in Checkout v1, a new tenant was created before the order was initialized. With the new feature enabled, the orchestration now initiates the order before account creation, allowing for asynchronous processing. This modification significantly reduces the risk of purchase errors resulting from slow account creation API responses.

Feature enablement

The feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Setting enablement

No setting enablement is required.
